Prayer is vital to the life of our church: in our worship, in our ministry at Café Plus and in our Powerhouse prayer meetings.
Ministry
Café Plus is the focal point for Elim's ministry in the Holme Valley. Situated on Westgate in Honley village centre, it is as its name suggests, more than just a café.

11am: The Be-Attitudes: God blesses those who hunger after righteousness.
According to research published by academics at Essex University this week, Britons are less honest than they were a decade ago. It seems that fewer people are concerned with doing the right thing. This morning we consider what Jesus meant when he said “Happy are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness”; and its implications for us today.
