A Blood Better than Abel’s – Hebrews 12: 24 

Someone wrote to me earlier in the week in response to a message a few weeks ago. They said the letter to the Hebrews was written to Jewish believers in the first century, and to them only, and although we may be able to learn something interesting, it is not addressed to or relevant to today’s church.  (He also had a misguided notion that it contradicted the doctrine of Paul.) But God’s Word is Truth and it still speaks today. In fact, our text today declares that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. Part of my message this Sunday will address why the sprinkled blood of Jesus is better than the blood of Abel. There are lots of gems of truth I want to share with you all of them relevant to our lives as believers today that will help us get a greater revelation of His love towards us. Come expecting to be blessed.

Where we meet

Our church is based in Honley, in the Holme Valley, four miles south of Huddersfield. We worship on Sunday evenings at 18:00pm in the Trinity Church building at Moorbottom.
